We were delighted to see so many members enjoying a full programme of events last week for London Motor Week. The Dewar Trophy and Simms Medal were presented on Tuesday lunchtime followed by an entertaining dinner with Chris Brownridge, CEO of Rolls Royce Motor Cars
On Wednesday the Art of Motoring exhibition opened at the Iconic Images Gallery, featuring 30 leading artists and sculptors. The annual Motoring Book of the Year Awards celebrated motoring and motor racing publications that evening. The Mountbatten Room came alive with the Motoring Lectures on Thursday which concluded with David Richards CBE being awarded the Diamond Jubilee Trophy at the 40 Years of Prodrive Dinner.
Crowds filled the street outside the clubhouse for the The St James’s Motoring Spectacle displayed over 120 cars on Saturday to whet the appetite for the world famous RM Sotheby’s London to Brighton Veteran Car Run which concluded a wonderful week in motoring yesterday.
